Busy Weekend

Friday we both worked, and Jonathan had school. Then Richard had a game to attend, so the kids and I went to a friend's house for a jewelry party. I couldn't decide what to get while I was there, but I think I have finally decided on a pretty pendant and earring set. I may get the bracelet next month after I get paid. We've had a lot of unusual expenses this month, and we're saving for Disney this fall.

Yesterday we started our day at 8:30 with a T-ball game in freezing weather! We weren't prepared for the cold, and we were all in shorts. Luckily, I had grabbed jackets for the girls and a blanket, so Alyssa and I cuddled up on the bleachers. Jonathan wrapped up in a towel from his Nana's car while he was in the dugout. Otherwise, he and Richard just had to keep moving to stay warm.

After that, I went to get my hair colored and cut. It had been several months, so it was nice to go get it done. That took about 3 hours, and then I had a little shopping to do. Richard and I also chapperoned prom last night, so we didn't get to bed until about 2:30 this morning. We are very tired, but we are enjoying our Sunday off with the kiddos. We went to church, and the kids went to Sunday school. But, we sort of cheated because we watched the service on the closed circuit television in the church's cafe while we drank a specialty coffee. We were more alert that way!

Anyway, it has been a busy, but nice, weekend.
